The Litchfield Housing Trust (LHT) provides opportunities for families with income below 80% of the area median to afford to live in Litchfield. This all volunteer Housing Trust has built both homeownership and rental units over the past twenty years, resulting in over 45 permanently affordable homes which blend naturally into this historic village.
Over the course of this time, Housing Connections has helped LHT with a number of tasks, including retaining the services of professional housing development consultants who helped LHT assemble financing, build their project pipeline, and obtain funding for “green” renovations.
